A Nomad's Dream
A Nomad's Dream is a reflection on game design created in the Bitsy micro-engine. It was created as a philosophical reflection on the nature of design, and is a capstone to four other Bitsy projects I produced.
One of the challenges when working with the Bitsy engine is that interaction is quite heavily limited. It does not allow for much freedom with mechanical design, which forces significant weight onto the environment and dialogue. Over the course of the four previous Bitsy projects, I struggled to find this balance, but I believe I found success in A Nomad's Dream, a belief supported by positive reception and engagement to the game.

Love at the End of the World
Love at the End of the World is a text based dating-sim developed in the Twine development engine. The game features 4 different apocalypses and 11 possible endings determined by player choices, making this a highly re-playable experience despite the limitations presented by a text-only engine.
This was my first venture into branching narrative and player choice in a game, and while rudimentary, each ending feels satisfactory, with each character having a strong and distinct personalities.

Size: Variable
Size: Variable was a game created for the 2024 GMTK Game Jam under the theme "Built to Scale." In the game, you play as a small blob, solving puzzles to navigate a scientific facility and escape.
I served as the team lead, as well as the primary game designer and programmer, and was responsible for the construction of all core mechanics and level designs. Despite the time constraint, I consider this game's levels and mechanics to be among my best design work. The game was received very positively by game jam reviewers.
